Medical Considerations: At Native Horizons Treatment Centre, our foremost priority is to ensure the safety and well-being of our clients. While we strive to offer the highest quality care, please note the following important considerations:

Pathways to Resilience: ACODF Support

In our support Adult Children of Dysfunctional Families group sessions, we explore how childhood experiences influence our current selves. Through sharing and listening to personal stories, we recognize patterns and begin the process of change. We identify “inner children” – aspects of ourselves shaped by past constraints.

We address harmful childhood messages, replacing them with positive behaviors and starting the journey of self-guided healing or “re-parenting.” This transformation leads to emotional maturity, enhanced happiness, and resilience. We learn to set and communicate boundaries, improving our respect for ourselves and others, and thereby enhancing our life quality.
